As a former college athlete I always had a competitive drive. After I graduated from college and no longer played volleyball, my life ironically became consumed with educating my mind about the body but physically neglecting my own.
Then in 2012, I started CrossFit. I finally found a program that not only brought back the competitive fire from my days as a collegiate athlete, but also one that has helped me develop as a physical therapist while improving my own physical abilities.
Joining CFGC has completely changed my life for the better and has helped me mature athletically, professionally, and personally. I am constantly striving to improve and be better than the day before while understanding that changes take time and commitment. Physical fitness and nutrition have become a big part of my life and something that I am very passionate about. I have seen significant improvements in my body composition, strength, endurance, and even gymnastics. I am doing things physically today that I never thought possible. The coaches at CFGC have guided me on this journey, and now I aspire to significantly affect the lives of our members in the same positive way.
