Kim stumbled upon CrossFit while attending undergrad at the University at Buffalo. She was overweight, dealing with thyroid issues and was looking for a program to help her lose weight and stay motivated at the gym. After her first CrossFit class, she was instantly hooked and realized that she was a lot stronger than she thought she was. Soon enough with consistency in her training and adapting changes within her diet, she was able to lose 40 lbs and stop being dependent on her medications.
After seeing the overwhelming changes within herself, she appreciated how impactful proper fitness and nutrition can be. Because she believed that CrossFit had saved her life in numerous ways, she wanted to help inspire people to become better versions of themselves.
Kim obtained her CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certification in 2013 and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Applied Clinical Nutrition.
Kim enjoys helping others reach their health and fitness goals and watching them achieve things they thought were not possible.
